The Office of the Provost will send general information concerning graduation events to you and your student later in the fall semester. Ceremonies abound during the weekend, from the Tropaia Awards ceremony to commencement exercises. All ceremonies are scheduled to take place from May 20-22, 2022, pending health and safety conditions.
The Office of the Provost announced the following dates on 12/03/2021;
Thursday, May 19, 2022: Senior Convocation at 2:00pm in McDonough Gymnasium. Note: seating will be limited so each family will receive two guest tickets for open seating, but those may be in an alternate location. All graduates will be seated in the gym. More information will be shared with graduating seniors in the spring.
Friday, May 20 – Saturday, May 21, 2022: The Georgetown College, School of Nursing & Health Studies, Walsh School of Foreign Service, McDonough School of Business, and School of Continuing Studies will host commencement ceremonies on Healy Lawn. The days and times of these ceremonies are as follows:
Friday, May 20: School of Continuing Studies Commencement at 12:00 pm
Friday, May 20: McDonough School of Business Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement at 3:00pm
Saturday, May 21: Georgetown College Commencement at 9:00 am
Saturday, May 21: School of Nursing & Health Studies Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement at 2:00 pm
Saturday, May 21: Walsh School of Foreign Service Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement at 5:00 pm
Note that Academic Procession for all Commencement Ceremonies begins approximately 30 minutes before the posted time, guests should be seated before procession begins.
Sunday, May 22, 2022: The annual Baccalaureat Mass will be at 9:00 am and includes an academic procession of students and faculty. Commencement Brunch will be served at 10:45 am.

Students will be able to purchase graduation announcements, class rings, diploma frames, caps and gowns later in the year.
