Class of 2022 Senior Week

Welcome to Senior Week, Class of 2022! Senior Week General Admission is completely FREE of charge. However, you must still complete this registration form on Campus Groups to sign up. Each “Senior Week Registration Ticket” includes events throughout the week, but seniors must sign up for each individual event ticket to indicate attendance. In addition, in-person registration is mandatory to participate in any event. Please join the SCC on Friday, May 13, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm in the Arrupe Multipurpose Room for in-person registration to receive a free wristband and other goodies. The first 800 seniors to register in person will receive a Class of 2022 T-shirt. There is also an option to purchase tickets to the Washington Nationals vs. Houston Astros game on Saturday, May 14 on CampusGroups. Online pre-registration sign-ups will close on Wednesday, May 11, at 11:55 pm ET.

Please bring two forms of ID (your GOCard and an official government ID) for in-person Senior Week Registration on Friday May 13, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm in the Arrupe Multipurpose Room. You may NOT pick up a wristband for anyone else. If you are unable to register at these times, in-person registration will also be available for the first hour of most on-campus events. Special accommodation requests must be made before the start of Senior Week by emailing your SCC Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Chair, Daniella Sanchez ds1631@georgetown.edu. Please also note that the schedule below is tentative and subject to change by the Senior Class Committee. Below you will find the rules to participate in Senior Week. You will be required to acknowledge these rules when you register and pick up your wristband during in-person registration.

Pre-register online in advance HERE. Also, please follow the SCC’s Facebook Page, Senior Week Facebook Event, and SCC Instagram Page @georgetownscc for ALL event updates.

This document contains essential information. Please read through it thoroughly so Senior Week can be as enjoyable as possible for everyone!

Senior Week Policies (PLEASE READ):

1. Registration will occur on Friday, May 13, between 10 am and 4 pm in the Arrupe Multipurpose Room. Please bring your GOCard and a government-issued ID to receive a Senior Week wristband. Suppose you are unable to register at these times. In that case, registration will also be available for the first hour of most on-campus events. Remember that all Senior Week apparel is given away on a first-come, first-serve basis.

2. You must have a wristband to attend all Senior Week events. To secure the integrity of the week, these wristbands are ONLY issued to seniors. Senior Week events are for seniors only and not open to underclassmen, family members, or friends. Even if you are only considering attending a few events, you still must register and receive a wristband. Wristbands must be worn all week and cannot be removed or shared. DPS and event staff will strictly enforce these rules, so please comply.

3. You must have completed all work sanction hours and be in good standing with the Office of Student Conduct and the Office of Off-Campus Student Life before participating in Senior Week activities. No exceptions will be made. If you have outstanding violations through the Office of Student Conduct for which work sanction hours were assigned, you must resolve those before being issued a senior week bracelet. Please resolve such issues through the respective offices, particularly the Office of Student Conduct, located on the 5th floor of the Leavey Center, during business hours M-F, 9 am – 5 pm. Questions can be emailed to studentconduct@georgetown.edu

4. Please bring one form of government ID to ALL off-campus events, including bar nights, President’s Picnic, and Senior Ball. Off campus events will not recognize Senior Week wristbands as age verification.

5. Please note which events have alcohol served at them and which do not. As a warning, you may not bring alcohol to any event. If you do, your wristband will be cut off, and you will not be able to participate in subsequent events.

7. If you would like a vegetarian/vegan option at Senior Picnic on Wednesday, May 18, please note that in the registration form.

8. Senior Week events take place in various venues that are accessible to people using wheelchairs or other mobility-related devices. In addition, several events occur off-campus and may involve transportation to and from the event. Requests for accommodations related to a disability should be emailed to ds1631@georgetown.edu by Friday, May 5. A reasonable faith effort will be made to accommodate requests made after May 5.

9. Senior Convocation will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 2:00 pm in McDonough Arena. We strongly encourage you to attend. Convocation is our unified commencement with music, special presentations by President DeGioia, your fellow Georgetown students, and an alumni speaker.

10. REMINDER: Senior Ball second round of ticket sales will open on Campus Groups on Monday, May 2nd at 12:15 PM on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please find below the detailed schedule for Senior Week 2022. After more than a year of being apart, we are excited to create lasting memories and cherish the friendships made during our time on the Hilltop.
