Chair – Matt Buckwald
Matt is a Senior in the College majoring in Government with minors in Arabic and Religion, Ethics, & World Affairs. Originally from Trumbull, CT, Matt is excited to bring his experiences from GUSA and Blue & Gray to the Senior Class Committee! His favorite food is pad thai and the best moment of his life was when Rihanna followed him on instagram.
Marketing Chair – Sydney Sanders
Sydney Sanders is a Science, Technology, and International Affairs (STIA) major in the SFS from Houston, TX. She thrives when the temperature and/or humidity is as close to 100 as possible, loves reading, baking, and watching bad movies. Sydney is excited to see the Class of 2020 at all of SCC’s great events!
Senior Ball Chair – Julie Antao
Julie is a member of the Walsh School of Foreign Service’s class of 2020, where she majors in International Politics with a focus in International Law, Ethics and Institutions and minors in French. Julie was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and cannot wait to bring “Brazilian zest” to Senior Ball this year. You can find Julie binge-watching, quoting TV shows, as well as chick-flicks on Netflix, or dancing to Brazilian songs in her room.
Senior Parents Weekend Chair – Caroline Hyer
Caroline is a senior in the School of Foreign Service, majoring in Culture and Politics and minoring in French. She is originally from Tenafly, NJ. She is in the google maps streetview image of her house. Caroline enjoys the wednesday farmers market in Red Square and is looking forward to senior year.
Senior Auction Chair – Emily Jonsson
Emily Jonsson is a senior in the College studying Classics with minors in Government and Anthropology. She is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania – yes, like the Office. She enjoys morning runs to watch the sunrise over the monuments and is looking forward to seeing her last one after Senior Ball.
Finance Chair – Brooke Stanley
Hi, my name is Brooke Stanley! I’m originally from Vermont and I’m studying Finance and Management in the MSB. On campus, I’m also involved with the Georgetown Scholars Program and McDonough Women in Business.
Senior Events Co-Chairs – Taylor Davis & Kylie Navarro
Taylor Davis is a Senior in the NHS studying Healthcare Management & Policy from Richmond, VA. They are also serving as the Resident Director for the CMEA’s Black House and as a Project Assistant for Georgetown’s Red House. They can’t wait to have a great senior year with you all!
Kylie is one of the Co-Events Chairs for the Senior Class Committee. She studies in the College, double majoring in Government and Economics with a minor in Theology. Though native to Wilmington, Delaware, Kylie has enjoyed making Georgetown her home away from home for the last 4 years. On campus, Kylie is involved with student / departmental theater and Blue & Gray Tour Guide Society. She plans to enter into the management consulting industry after graduation.
Development Chair- Max Curschmann
Max is from Newark, DE, originally. At Georgetown he is completing a double major in Economics and Government. He is excited to be the Development Chair of SCC and looks forward to building a great Senior Year experience for the Class of 2020!
